For five weeks around Christmas of 2019, Judy and I assisted Benson Baptist Church of Benson, Illinois. This church had been without a pastor for several months, and wanted pulpit fill for the Holidays. As the church was only a few hours away, we could arrive on Friday, rest in the prophet’s chamber, assist with Saturday outreach and visitation, and I could preach Sunday. At this posting (July 2023) the church has a new Pastor, and has invited me to preach their first annual Missions Conference in November 2023.
